We’ve listed the year when each player signed and the initial fee they paid to help you out – but that’s all you’re getting in terms of clues, so this quiz isn’t as easy as you might expect. You’ve got 15 minutes.

Proper strikers only. We’ve not included wide forwards, inverted wingers and the like – although one or two names on this list arguably blur those boundaries a little, fluid as the game is these days.
