Hoddle took England to the 1998 World Cup.

Can you name every England player capped by Glenn Hoddle?

Glenn Hoddle picked 41 players during his two-and-a-half-year reign as England manager – but how many of them can you name?

Taking over from Terry Venables after Euro 96, Hoddle guided England to the 1998 World Cup and was defeated in that iconic second-round match by Argentina.

Sadly for Hoddle, his reign ended in February 1999 after a poor start to Euro 2000 qualifying and disparaging comments made against disabled people.

But the former Tottenham midfielder is remembered as one of the better Three Lions managers and we’d like you to name every player he picked to play for their country.

If this is too easy for you – in which case, we doff our hats – then you might want to try our challenge of naming every one-cap wonder for England since 2000.
