Pochettino was appointed in the summer of 2023 following a disastrous season where Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League.

While the former Argentina defender initially struggled for consistency in the league, he managed to guide the Blues to sixth by the end of the campaign plus two domestic cup runs that ended with defeats at Wembley.

But that wasn’t enough to satisfy the owners and Pochettino left the club by mutual consent in May 2024.
