The Premier League is home to some of the best teenagers in world football right now and youngsters from Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have grown exponentially in value throughout 2023.

Football clubs are obsessed with snapping up the brightest upcoming talents as youngsters these days will usually be sold for a premium as they have huge sell-on potential.

Using figures from Transfermarkt, we have ranked the top 10 Premier League teenagers who have gained the most value throughout 2023.

10. Andrey Santos (+£4.35million)

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge in January, Santos is yet to make his senior debut for the club. The youngster spent last season on loan with Vasco da Gama and is now turning out for Nottingham Forest on loan.

Chelsea’s original investment in the Brazilian teenager already seems to be paying off as he has gained over £4million in value since the start of the year and is now worth £13.05million.

9. Jhon Duran (+£5.22million)

The Colombian teenager has been in fine form this season and has scored four goals across all competitions so far. His value has doubled throughout 2023 as he is now deemed to be worth £10.44million.

Unai Emery was full of praise for the youngster after he scored his first goal for the club against Everton: “It was his first goal with us, and after six months I think it’s good.

“He has to be our striker with Ollie Watkins and we have to be competitive with those players. Today, his impact was very brilliant.”

8. Romeo Lavia (+£6.09million)

Chelsea splashed a reported £53million to land a deal for Lavia in the summer as they fought off Liverpool for his signature. The 19-year-old has added around £6million to his value in 2023 and is deemed to be worth £27.8million by Transfermarkt.

Lavia is still waiting to make his Chelsea debut as he continues to recover from an ankle injury. Mauricio Pochettino could sure make use of the teenager right now as his side have struggled to find much form at the start fo the season.

7. Milos Kerkez (+£6.96million)

The Bournemouth full-back is now considered to be worth £13.05million after an eye-catching year. Kerkez made 52 appearances for AZ Alkmaar last season and got his move to the Premier League on the back of his breakthrough campaign.

6. Lewis Hall (+£8.7million)

Hall has become the latest youth prospect that Chelsea have cashed in on. The youngster will spend the season on loan with Newcastle before making the move permanent next year for a reported fee of £35million.

5. Julio Enciso (+£9.57million)

Brighton are the experts in finding value in the market and they got just that when they snapped up Enciso last summer for a fee of £9.5million. The attacking midfielder is now deemed to be worth £19.12million and he’s enjoyed an eye-catching start to the new season.

Roberto De Zerbi hailed the youngster for his performance against Wolves as he grabbed two assists in the 4-1 triumph. “I think Julio today was one of the best players on the pitch, maybe the best,” the Brighton boss told reporters.

4. Stefan Bajcetic (+£10.43million)

The Spanish teenager enjoyed his breakthrough season in the Premier League last time around as Jurgen Klopp handed him plenty of opportunities in the league and cup.

His transfer value has taken quite the bump since his senior debut as he is now deemed to be worth £11.3million. Having recently recovered from an injury setback, Bajcetic will be looking to make more strides forward this season.

3. Rico Lewis (+£16.51million)

It’s no secret that Pep Guardiola loves to splash the cash on a full-back or two, but he’s also been instrumental in the development of Lewis over the past 12 months.

Guardiola looked towards Lewis last season as his side had a shortage at left-back, following the fallout with Joao Cancelo. The 18-year-old stepped up in Cancelo’s absence and ended up winning a treble in his debut season.

Lewis is now deemed to be worth £17.38million, with the vast majority of that value being added to his price tag over the past 12 months. It’s been some year for the youngster to say the least.

2. Alejandro Garnacho (+£17.38million)

United’s starboy has continued to impress this year. The Argentine winger made 34 appearances for Erik ten Hag’s side last season and is surely destined for the very top.

“He is improving and he has improved a lot,” Ten Hag said after Garnacho penned a new deal with the club until 2028. “Now, I hope and I think this new contract is an inspiration and a motivation to do even better. Because it is a big step and, today, you deserve it.”

The 19-year-old is deemed to be worth £21.73million by Transfermarkt, which is £17.38million more than he was valued at last year.

1. Evan Ferguson (+£25.21million)

There’s a reason that every top Premier League side is now being linked with the Brighton teenager. Ferguson looks like a star in the making and Brighton will no doubt land a huge fee for the 18-year-old when they do eventually decide to sell.

His current market value is said to be £26.08million, but you can bet that he will be sold for significantly more than that when the time comes.
